Avon Timber Merchants Coventry currently offers a delivery service only to the UK mainland.

Our local delivery service is free on orders over £100 + VAT, and for orders under £100 + VAT there will be a small delivery charge of £15 + VAT. The rest of the UK mainland has been split into zones that are easliy identifable on our PDF map, and all prices quoted on the map are including VAT.

•   The product(s) will be delivered by Avon Timber Merchants Ltd. Delivery will be made to the nearest point that is adjacent to the roadway and clear of obstruction.
•   The driver will not move the product around or through the property.
•   All dates quoted for either delivery or contact is approximate. Avon Timber Merchants Ltd will not accept any liability for any delays in delivery for any reason.
•   Deliveries are to those areas highlighted on our delivery map. Monday to Friday between 7.00am and 5.00pm. No specific time will be given.
•   Customers are expected to check and sign for the delivery, except when Avon Timber Merchants Ltd has received written confirmation from the customer that the item can be left without a signature, and has agreed to leave the item. If there are any discrepancies, please report these to the driver, or mark on the POD. (See Returns Policy for full details of why this important)
•   Customers need to inform us if there are any circumstances that might cause problems for lorry access to their property. Customers must ensure that their addresses are on a road which can cope off loading a 7.5 Tonne (25ft long, around about the size of a fire engine) vehicle. To help ensure this, the customer should confidently answer yes to the following questions.
         1) Is the address on a made up (tarmac) road?
         2) For delivery of large items, is the road at least two lorry widths?
         3) Can a lorry park within six metres (20ft) of the property?
    If a customers delivery address is not accessible by a 7.5t vehicle, Avon Timber Merchants Ltd reserve the right to charge reasonable costs of providing a smaller delivery vehicle or to confirm that the order cannot be accepted.
•   If the delivery fails due to the criteria set above not being met, inaccurate customer details or the buyer fails to take delivery (except in circumstances where it is beyond the customers reasonable control or it is the fault of our carriers or Avon Timber Merchants.) 
Avon Timber Merchants reserve the right to:
       >   Charge reasonable cost of storage and redelivery once the reason for the initial failure has been rectified.
       >   Or resell the goods at market value and charge the original buyer any expenses occurred in the storage or reselling. Should the item resell at below the market value, any shortfall will be charged to the original buyer.
•   Customers can request a collection or exchange of a product if the request is received by Avon Timber Merchants Ltd within 14 days of delivery providing that the product is returned as sold with no damages present, no assembly or preparation (painting etc) having been attempted and the complete product (where provided) is in its original packaging.

•   The product(s) will be delivered by our suppliers and/or their couriers on behalf of Avon Timber Merchants Ltd. Delivery will be made to the nearest point that is adjacent to the roadway and clear of obstruction.
•   The carrier will not move the product around or through the property.
•   The carrier may contact the customer by telephone prior to the delivery, as they may like to confirm details and agree a suitable delivery date.
•   All dates quoted for either delivery or contact is approximate. Avon Timber Merchants Ltd will not accept any liability for any delays in delivery for any reason.
•   Deliveries are to those areas highlighted on our delivery map. Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 6.00pm. No specific time will be given.
•   Customers are expected to check the goods, and sign for the delivery. If there is any damages present on any of the goods or any other discrepancies, then the customer must report this by marking on the POD at that time, failure to do so may result in no refund (See Returns Policy for full details of why this important).
