Pine Door Lining
Pine, also known as Unsorted Redwood, is an exceptional softwood timber for interior home joinery, offering both integrity and aesthetic appeal. Pine door linings, sometimes incorrectly known as pine door frames, combine practicality with elegance, making them an ideal fixing for modern home design.
Selecting the right material for your door linings is crucial. You need a durable, versatile option that can endure over time while allowing doors to open and close smoothly. Our Pine door linings provide these advantages, and they are machined to a smooth finish, ensuring a seamless fit and long-lasting performance.
The primary function of a door lining is to cover exposed brick or wall areas and provide a framed structure to house the door. Our solid timber door linings are crafted in-house from top-quality softwood, available in both 15x4mm grooved (to accommodate an intumescent strip) and ungrooved sets, and with a doorstop, the set comes together to form a complete door casing.
Your internal softwood door lining can be delivered straight to you, we cover all of the UK.
As a family-operated timber merchant, we take pride in sharing our expertise with customers to ensure you find exactly what you need. For more information on our bespoke internal softwood door linings or to have any of your questions answered, please contact the Avon Timber team directly.
